NTEP washdown scale features a waterproof sealed indicator and load cell. This scale is perfect for "wet" applications like fisheries, to weigh soil or chemicals, as well as all types of food. And with a stainless steel platter and sealed load cell & indicator, this scale can function in moist enviornments.
The CW Series of bench scale is perfect for food, chemical, and waterproof applications. The indicator and column also fold down for easy storage and portability.
The scale is powered by a standard AC adapter (wall outlet) and does not have a battery option.
(However, we do carry the CTB series washdown bench scale that is not NTEP, but is a washdown bench scale, and comes standard with the AC adapter and has the rechargeable battery).

FAQ's
Does this scale have a RS232 port to transmit data to a printer or PC?
A: Yes, the new model has this feature along with a new backlit display for easy viewing!
How does the transmission of data from the scale to the PC work?
A: The RS-232 cable (9 pin) connects to the computer through a USB port at the computer end. The data pops up (no software needed) in the notepad and then you can cut and paste to Excel or other programs.
