The MBS Load Bar System is a versatile and economical system for heavy loads that is totally portable with a 5,000 lb x 1 lb capacity.

This highly portable and unique scale system is designed with simplicity in mind. In just a few minutes the entire scale is setup and ready to weigh. The system includes two 40" long Load Bars. Each Load Bar has 15’ of load cell cable with quick connectors. This scale system is made complete with an digital indicator in an ABS enclosure.

Well suited to livestock weighing. Easily placed under livestock chutes, cattle squeeze, hog crate, custom platforms, large tanks and feed hoppers.

Special filtering control for scale operator allows consistent and accurate weights for livestock. Indicator has an automatic hold feature to hold the weight for unstable animals.

  Is the listed price for one each or for a set of two?
  A: The price is for the pair of load beams. This includes two load beams connected by a load cell cable.
  
  Are these load bars suitable for weighing animals?
  A: Yes, these are designed for animal weighing. You can also fabricate or construct your own platform to put on top of these load bars. Perfect for squeeze chute or alleyway weighing.
  
  What do I need to keep in mind when constructing my own weighing platform?
  A: The platform itself must be designed to support the maximum load this may include reinforcing the platform underneath.  The platform length should be designed to fit over the load bars when they are 6 ft apart and no further.  Any more space between the load bars may cause the platform to "flex" or bend and affect the accuracy of the weigh.
  
  Does this have a RS-232 output to link to computers or printers?
  A: Yes, this will link to a printer or computer.
