One Digital Scales brings you an economical weigh bar system that can withstand all the elements.  This 5,000lb capacity waterproof system is suitable for all applications from animal weighing, part or piece counting, or general industrial weighing. Put a platform on this system to make a floor scale or shipping/receiving scale.
The steel weigh bars are sealed and capped to keep moisture out and the stainless steel indicator is fully waterproof (110V and rechargeable battery standard). 
Weighs in lbs and kgs and includes an RS-232 ouput to transmit the scale data to your printer or PC.  Combine with one of our printers or Winwedge software.

Includes both weigh beams and indicator arriving pre-calibrated at your door.

FAQ's

Are these load bars suitable for weighing animals?
A: Yes, these are designed for animal weighing. You can also fabricate or construct your own platform to put on top of these load bars. Perfect for squeeze chute or alleyway weighing.

Is this system waterproof and can this scale system be used with saltwater?
A: Yes, this is waterproof and saltwater will not hurt the scale. It is recommended that you wash off the scale with freshwater after each use to prevent rust. The stainless steel indicator and weigh bars are both sealed and waterproof.

What do I need to keep in mind when constructing my own weighing platform?
A: The platform itself must be designed to support the maximum load this may include reinforcing the platform underneath.  The platform length should be designed to fit over the load bars when they are 6 ft apart and no further.  Any more space between the load bars may cause the platform to "flex" or bend and affect the accuracy of the weigh.

Does this have a RS-232 output to link to computers or printers?
A: Yes, this will link to a printer or computer.
