The Citizen MB series Digital Moisture Balance has two capacities to choose from. This balance is designed to measure the amount of moisture contained in a material. The MB comes equipped with two 500w halogen bulbs.
The moisture balance has an on-board leveling system ideal for an uneven workspace.
You can hook up a printer, a computer, or a monitor up to this scale so that measurements can be tracked from an external source.
The MB series has memory for up to 99 different user able procedures for analysis.
The base of the scale is 11.5" deep x 8" wide, and 6" tall. The weighing platform is 3.9" in diameter.

What is a moisture analyzer?
A: Moisture balances (ie. "sludge scales") determine the water content that's contained in a given sample. This moisture analyzer measures the weight of the material that's placed inside it. The unit then heats that material to quickly evaporate the liquid in it. The moisture determination (the amount of moisture that was in the material) is then displayed on the display screen.
How big is the size of the weighing platform? Dimensions?
A: The weighing platform is 2.9" in diameter and about 2" high.
Does the RS-232 interface come with the moisture balance?
A: Yes, the RS-232 output comes standard on this balance. This allows you to connect the moisture balance to a computer/PC.
