The animal scale is perfectly dually suited to geriatric and bariatric patients with it's low profile and high weight capacity (1,000lb capacity). With an easy to grip handle and rolling wheels, this scale is the perfect mobile solution for any hospital, hospice or LTC facility, or bariatric center of excellence.
ANIMAL APPLICATIONS
The animal scale features a large 20" x 55" base and 1,000lb weight capacity. This capacity and base size should be sufficient for most of the mid-range to smaller animals without any problem. With this scale you can weigh hogs, alpacas, goats, medium sized animals, small calves, swine, dogs, cats, and other farm animals. This will be perfect for squeeze chute weighing as it will fit in most any barn or pen.
Built in wheels and handle (along with rubber mat) gives you the best mobile weighing solution out there. The PS1000 animal scales will weigh most animals and features a "live weigh" load cell. The live weigh load cell captures high speed averaging of a patient or animal's weight as they shift around on the scale. The digital scale indicator will then show the fluctuations in the weight
Each model includes the indicator and can display in either pounds (0.5 lb division size) or kilograms (0.2 kg division size). This product is ideal for weighing in the shipping or manufacturing area and can also be used for animal weighing.
All units are pre-calibrated and are simple to install using the adjustable feet for leveling. The indicator comes with a mounting bracket and 3 meter (10’) cable for wall mounting and is easily disconnected for remote recharging. AC power can be used with the adapter (included) and the internal, rechargeable battery provides continuous operation for up to 8 hours.

A: No, the scale arrives pre-calibrated and ready to weigh right out of the box.
Can you ship this scale to Canada? If so, what's the shipping cost?
A: Yes, we ship this to Canada. The rough cost of shipping this to Canada is around $115-150 depending where you are.
How is this scale powered?
A: This scale runs off battery AND AC adapter. Four (4) AAA batteries or 6VDC, 500mA adapter - both are included.
Does this scale allow you to print the weights?
A: Yes, this scale indicator has an RS232 output port which allows you to connect to a PC or printer. To do this you access: Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communications > Hyperterminal
What if I'm planning on using the scale in extremely cold or hot weather, will this still work?
A: Yes, this will still work in very cold weather for example. You can leave the floor scale deck outside, but bring in the power source and liquid crystal indicator (LCD) to avoid damaging the electronics of the scale.
How big are the numbers on the display?
A: The numbers are a little over 1/2 inch.
