Model PS500 is a durable and practical floor scale at a relatively low price. Each model includes the indicator and can display in either pounds (0.2 lb division size) or kilograms (0.1 kg division size). This product is ideal for weighing in the shipping or manufacturing area and can also be used for animal weighing (a rubber mat for the weighing surface is included with each unit to minimize surface slippage in this application).
All units are pre-calibrated and are simple to install using the adjustable feet for leveling. The indicator comes with a mounting bracket and 3 meter (10’) cable for wall mounting and is easily disconnected for remote recharging. AC power can be used with the adapter (included) and the internal, rechargeable battery provides continuous operation for up to 8 hours.

What's the difference between the PS250 550lb scale versus this one?
A: The PS500 weighs only to 500lb capacity but is 2x4' stainless steel platform.
This scale is a little more user friendly and easier to use. The price is also more economical than the PS250.

A: Yes, this unit arrives at your business or home pre-calibrated and ready to plug and play. Simply take out of the box, level the feet, and begin weighing.
How is this scale powered?
A: This scale comes standard with an AC adapter AND a rechargeable battery. The AC adapter plugs into your standard wall outlet and the battery provides an 8 hour continous charge - perfect for weighing out in the backyard, barn, or anywhere. Scale should be placed on a solid, level surface at all times for accurate weighing.
